Creating a cellar is an extremely simple and quick process.

Benefiting from the inherent strength of circular geometry, EnviroDome modules can be completely buried.

The process to create a cellar consists of the following,

  • Excavate a trench 8.0m wide x 3.5m deep (if required to be totally buried) x the required length
  • Excavate drainage trenches along both sides for sub-surface water. 300mm x 300mm
  • Install slotted pipes to the entire length
  • Lay a 50mm thick bed of course sand /fine gravel over the entire area
  • Place the modules in position
  • Place a 600mm wide strip of 1.0mm galvanised sheet metal over the joins, seal with bitumen paint
  • Backfill with gravel, equally on both sides

A 300mm wide gap between modules is recommended to accommodate floor grates and ventilation shafts topped with rotary cowls.

Modules can be delivered bare or arrive on site fitted out to individual requirements,
